O'Reilly's published a book for web designers and other non-programmers, called Perl for Web Site Management, by author John Callender. Hopefully this will help your boss be able to edit the text you embedded in your CGI because you decided not to use one of the dozens of templating systems available on CPAN.
Callender is the author of a recent article I enjoyed, Confessions of an Accidental Programmer, which describes how a lot of us became programmers.
It's not a pedantic tutorial about Perl or programming, but a rather tasked-based survival guide to living la vida HTML. I tech reviewed the book and would recommend to those who don't really want to dive into Perl all at once. This book also features the new interior layout by David Futato, which is pretty groovy. Think of the fonts!
