Books getting too big

It's nice that books like this have a lot of information, but it would sure be nice if publishers would limit their size somewhat. The reviewer thinks the quality is good for this particular book, but the readability and luggability of a 1296 page book is limited.

"The Perl Cookbook" is about as big as a computer book should get -- much bigger and it should be split out into two or more volumes. Even Camel 3 is a bit on the large side. I for one would be willing to shell out a few extra $$$ to be able to get good books that happen to be large as a boxed set of volumes or even seperately.

And authors: sometimes genius is in brevity.
