The first beta for MacPerl 5.6.1 is now available. It is a pretty darn good release, chock full of Mac-ish goodness. So go fetch it, download it, and enjoy. Try out the web-based installer while you're at it.

Thanks from me to the whole MacPerl team! I do a bunch of web development (mostly in ASP, don't laugh) and I constantly have tons of dopey little problems such as:
Format a list (A, B, C) into an html pop-up:
<option value="A">A</a>
<option value="B">B</a>
<option value="C">C</a>
MacPerl has saved me hours of work (and tracking down bugs!) Thanks! Eager to see the new version.
