Has anyone considered putting apache on cvs.perl.org and setting up cvsweb.cgi ?

(or it's cousin viewcvs.cgi? ...it seems to be more actively maintained, and has more features, but I'm not sure how odd it would be to be using a python app to browse the perl source code)

So I was.

For some reason when I tried http://cvs.perl.org/ I couldn't connect, so I assumed it wasn't running a www server.
