Speaking of which, I am giving a talk on Perl at the
Federal Open Source Conference on October 2-5, in Washington, D.C. Kevin Lenzo is also giving a talk, on speech, IIRC.
nntp.perl.org access?

I don't see the list/group on nntp.perl.org yet. Will it be appearing soon?

Kinda funny.. I went to the website and wanted to check out the
program and all I saw were ODBC errors from their non-open source webserver while trying to talk to their non-open source DB, and some general ASP errors. I mean really, if you are having a OS-con, at least use OSS on the website
:)

yes yes; the web archive at http://archive.develooper.com/ and the nntp interface at news://nntp.perl.org/ automagically creates new groups some hours after the first posting to the list.
