Yet Another Society, Perl Monks, and
Perl Mongers are joining forces,
creating a new foundation inside YAS, announced Kevin Lenzo today at the Perl Conference.
YAS will continue to do the same work, including
funding Perl Development Grants (like the one that is funding Damian
Conway's work for this year), running conferences, and helping Perl
user groups.
Larry Wall will be on the board, and the group
is setting up a vehicle to accept funding. Please see the

It is worth noting that
Perl Monks is also becoming a part of the great YAS empire. Go YAS!
