Larry Wall has written Apocalypse 2, his second article describing what Perl 6 will be like. In this piece, he covers what is related to Chapter 2 of the Camel book, which is mostly stuff about data and variables. Read and enjoy.
How about *least* favorite?
Mark Thomas on 2001-05-11T17:33:19
My vote for least favorite would be:
=begin END.
Woohoo! A workaround for a workaround that didn't completely work around the problem in the first place.

I vote for Unicode because I don't like any of the other "features."

Unicode isn't a feature, it's a scourge.

Here Here!!
Seeing as Perl6 is supposed customizable/
dialectable.
I hope we can patch together a Perl5 module.
I can do without a lot of these "features",
and happen to like my Perl just the way it is, thanks.

The most popular feature is changing $@*% to be part of the variable name. That's the one I don't like.
Oh, well. If you guys all like it that much, it must be good.

Well that would also be my least favorite.. afterall from all the languages that i know, identiying the variable type by its beginning character has been a major help..
but, it's possible we're getting it wrong...
