mad-p writes "The long awaited YAPC::Japan 19100 lost its chance in the year 2000. This is partly because the official Perl Conference came up in December in Kyoto.
Now YAPC::Japan 19100 has been reborn as "YARPC 19101" which stands for "Yet Another Ruby/Perl Conference 19101". The conference features the Ruby language, too. The order of Ruby and Perl alternates by conference. (We had Perl first in Kyoto.)
This one-day conference will be held on May 26th in Tokyo. See http://yarpc.tokyo.pm.org/ for more information. I apologize we don't prepare the pages in English."

Registration method: We have not yet finished deciding this, but it will be announced. We expect to decide before the end of April.
Fees: Unfortunately, we need to cover the costs of setting up and operating the conference. There will be a conference fee of about 1000Y per person.
Other: We will be producing a limited number of lanyards to commemorate the 19100 YARPC; they will be distributed at cost price to those attending the confrence - we expect the cost to be around 1000Y.
We are also running a mailing list for YARPC 19100 - send mail to majordomo@jus.or.jp with "subscribe yarpc" in the body, and you will automatically receive a request for confirmation. On answering this mail, you will be subscribed.
