Check out this great story on Slashdot about a high school kid who got in trouble because he wrote my($f) = `fortune` instead of using scalar context. The quote put on his web page from fortune mentioned guns, but the incompleteness of the quote, leaving out the end of it and the attribution (to William Gibson, from Johnny Mnemonic), which caused suspicion and led to questioning by the police.
