Tim Bunce noted on the dbi-announce list that Geek Cruises is running the Database Discovery cruise in June 2001, a followup to the Perl Whirl cruise from last year. Time is running out to sign up, and save money on a companion's fee through March 20. Tim will be one of many speakers, and he'll be doing a general DBI intro and a talk on the new Oracle::OCI module.
