The Perl Journal Web Site

An anonymous user offers: "www.tpj.com does not seem to be responding anymore. This is not a good sign for The Perl Journal lovers everywhere."

I would not say it is a sign at all, good or bad. EarthWeb sold out to Internet.com. We don't know what their plans are for TPJ, but we already know they told the printers to not print TPJ issue #20 until further notice. Anything that happens, whether apparently positive or negative, cannot be assumed to be permanent until we found out what happens with the current legal proceedings.

Further, while that URL is not responding, http://www.itknowledge.com/tpj/, which has been the "real" URL of TPJ for some time, is responding.

All this is just to reiterate that there is no good news or bad news, until we actually get real news.

A bigger /images/tpj/issue1.jpg somewhere?

That's sad news and great links ;-) I've been subscribed to TPJ both at work and at home. Mr. Orwant was also kind enough to donate a free subscription for a random reader of our Russian-speaking Pref News e-zine... thanks again! I hope that someone will pick up TPJ and that also Jon and others will continue publishing those great articles.

Is there a bigger version of the 1st TPJ issue cover somewhere on the web?

The Perl Journal (TPJ) : situation deteriorating.

http://www.itknowledge.com/tpj/ is no longer responding.

Any news from anywhere? If I can't have my subscription, I would at least like my money.

Silly me, getting a 2 year subscription.
