The End Is Near

All RFCs for Perl 6 will be frozen on October 1, by edict of Project Manager Nathan Torkington. Larry Wall will then take the RFCs and put out his draft of the language specification on October 14, the day he will be giving a keynote address at the Atlanta Linux Showcase. Wall said he wanted to vomment on every RFC by then. There is no date set for a final language specification.

Adam Turoff a summary of what's going on with the RFCs at http://dev.perl.org/rfc/overdue.html. 275 RFCs are in, with 149 of them "overdue" (hasn't been updated in the last seven days).

That bad, eh?

That a cross between vomit and comment? As in, the RFC's make him want to puke, and he has some few choice words to say about them??

=)

(yes, a joke. I know it's a typo)
