moonbeam writes in to tell us that Damian Conway (that scary guy who seems to write everything in either Perl or haiku (or both)) will be giving a pair of seminars in Seattle in early July, called "Advanced Object Oriented Perl" and "Beyond Regexes: Text Parsing with Perl Modules".
