Posted to the p5p list last week, here's a CNET story about Open Sales that has some broken sentence structure and apparently quotes ActiveState CEO Dick Hardt out of context.

I've taken a look at the software they've comme up with. It gave me a headache, I've never seen such a clumbsy installation procedure.

For a company that has a burden of $10 million USD, I would get some descent project managers and a few mission statement on QA.

but that's just the way I see it....

Sloppy code that look slike it was written in Perl4, no support for mod_perl or other speedup mechanisms, weak docs...

Do yourself a favor and try one of the other ones like MiniVend, Tallyman, or YAMS.
